The Chapel is 154 years old as of 2023. Charles Wesley preached in the village square in 1746. Services in villagers cottages were held until 1824 when a chapel was built. Then another in 1846. However membership increased which led to the erection of the present church in 1869. Recently the roof has been repaired the window’s have been refurbished and the school room is ready for a complete makeover which will be starting any day soon!
However a church is really about the people. We are very happy to say we are a very welcoming family of members. Everyone is welcome is our motto.
